Better than kitty litter for traction?

Maybe a new use for Twinkies. They have a shelf life longer than an Egyptian mummy.

Fun fact: I have never had a twinkie in my life. Or a hoho, or whatever else those industrial ‘cakes’ go by :face_with_hand_over_mouth:

Neither have I, I think. Certainly as far back as I can remember.

I think you’ll have your Pennsylvania driver’s license revoked if the state finds out you’ve never had a Tastykake!

Dude, Tastykake will have to get in line behind PA Dutch chicken pot pie, Middleswarth chips (and all the other PA brands), shoofly pie, and most of the Amish sweets.

Wait… you need a DRIVER’S LICENSE here? :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

All I know is that Snyder’s of Hanover, PA makes the absolutely best hard pretzel snacks!

They’re pretty popular here. I don’t care for pretzels, either. I’m a terrible German

And I live a 2-hour drive from Montreal, probably the poutine capital of the world, but have never had a poutine! I really dislike cheese curds; those squeaky things do nothing for me. The thought of combining cheese curds with fries and gravy is a turn-off for me.

The thought of gravy on fries is a turn-off for me, much less adding something squeaky!

Right? It’s just an odd combo. Squeaky cheese & wet fries. Hard no.

Somebody opened a Quebec-themed restaurant here a few years ago. Their poutine gravy was a jarred Canadian brand. I was surprised at how thin it was–I was expecting a thicker gravy. It quickly saturated the fries. I didn’t notice the cheese curds. Their Montreal smoked meat was good. Sadly, they didn’t survive the pandemic.
