And my spell check morphed app into apostrophe.
I’m sorry you didn’t have good luck with Home Depot matching your color.
And yes, I have also seen some heavy handed “mud” jobs for minor repairs.
Funny story… when my neighbor wanted to put in a pool, there were requirements that the wall (between our two properties) had to be higher. So he contracted with some guy who was supposed to build the wall extension and paint it. My neighbor’s side of the wall was a different color than mine. Needless to say the contractor only matched my neighbor’s side – not mine.
After a few weeks of non-activity, I asked my neighbor when the contractor was coming back to finish painting the wall, as my side only had (what appeared to be) primer on it. He told me the guy was finished and he had paid him. I showed him my side of the wall and his response was similar to yours.
I ended up painting it myself.
That’s too bad. I took a couple of chips from under a light switch cover to Ace and got a perfect match.
I’m glad you cleared that up. I was jealous, my oil heater doesn’t have an apostrophe.
But I have an overconfident Siri who has taken over my iPad …
Definitely the “serving size” for too many foodstuffs, versus what we actually eat, is some kind of work of fiction.
i’m still trying to figure out if that’s my fault, or the manufacturer’s fault… Probably mine, assisted by theirs…
I have said before that one of the saddest days of my life was when Stouffer’s came out with single serving lasagna. Because I thought that WAS a single serving.
As is universally acknowledged, any container of ice cream, regardless of what it may say on the package, contains exactly ONE serving.
Nacho ratio is WAY off. Should be an equal amount of tortillas and cheese.
“Should be,” mabez, but in my experience the cheese only barely covers the very top layer, which is why I think of them not as food, but a bad joke.
Make your own.
I don’t like nachos enough — much to my PIC’s chagrin, who loves them.
There’s a local brewery famous for its braised short rib nachos, and rightly so. I know that wouldn’t appeal to you for obvious reasons, but the meat to cheese to nachos to jalapeño ratio was perfect. Even I enjoyed that version
However, I’ve not been in years bc the service has an attitude & the food went downhill, so I’ve no idea what it’s like these days.
And just corn chips with cheese or queso and jalapeños don’t appeal to me at all. Do you pimp them out with crab meat or something?
Chips, at least two kinds of cheese, jalapenos, salsa, sour cream, guac and beans if I have any already made.
I am fascinated by how offended I became by this map.
I believe that was the point. Apparently, some CO folks lost their minds over it
Well, I wouldn’t put Virginia, DC and Maryland in the “Great Lakes” region either. Or West Virginia or Kentucky. None of them even touch a Great Lake!
