San Diego: June 22 must eats?

I heard very good things about asada fries from my (other) native sources. Only so many days so many calories :-).

I am also on the fence about nachos generally. They can be really really great but so many factors in play. Chip type foremost. I think they are also “hard to teach” in a restaurant setting because too much of X, Y, Z and the balance is off. Would have to do everything by scoops… carne asada fries remove the chip type variation.

You’re right. Endless combinations and preferences for each. I’ve got a soft spot for simple nacho cheese chips and pickled jalapeños and thats it.

Looks like you got it in in San Diego well done

I’m reminded that Del Taco has this too. It won’t hurt, much.

If you like loaded nachos (which we hate) you will like them

Ha ha ha. Well, you know what people say? Fish is good for you.
