Rome, Bologna, and Ravenna

Many thanks!

I have to get back to my trip report from the summer, so behind. But we Trattoria da Me was our least favorite meal in Bologna. We managed to eat twice at Trattoria di Via Serra di Tommaso & Flavio and highly recommend that. They do not answer their phone, so reservations are impossible. I went after their lunch service when I arrived to book lunch at the end of my stay, but we also arrived about a half an hour before opening one night and stood outside on a line that formed behind us. There is one table and a counter with maybe 4 seats available for walk-ins.

We had Sunday lunch at Trattoria da Amerigo, and that was splendid. It is traditional Bolognese at its best. And we had an extraordinary meal at Lehti, modern cooking, also a drive from the center of the city. That last was served to us by the chef himself! I think it was his mother in the kitchen.

Finally, we had another, traditional, but different from Amerigo, lunch at Antica Osteria del Mirasole con Locanda, also a drive from town. I will get to posting all of this during my post Christmas break. Sorry not to have done it sooner, but these restaurants are all bookable online and worth firnding a way to get to!
