Restaurant recommendations for Sestri Levante

Wow…moving to Lucca!!! You can be our on site reported for all thing western Tuscan. Best of luck!!

Fred did spend time in Camogli, and I think he also lived a short while I Cetara, my favorite place on Amalfi Coast. Too bad many tourists do not make it there, nor to the higher elevations around Tramonti, Agerola, etc. We stayed a few nights in Furore but although the hotel restaurant was good, Furore was not a fave of mine…but there are other hills town that might bear a look…maybe en route to Cilento.

Again, LisaB…PLEASE, once you settled in, do not neglect us…!!! Buon viaggio!

@erica1 too bad for the tourists maybe not for the places - ive been noticing social media posts touting the Cilento as the next Amalfi Coast - heaven forbid!!! I agree about the higher elevations/more inland towns - we certainly enjoyed Ravello (certainly not off the tourist track but less crowded than amalfi below and at least offseason, the trails through the hills were heavenly) and a lot of the higher elev or inland towns do seem to be less “spoiled”. Just for now, I recently saw something about a an airport near Salerno airport beng expanded which will certainly drive more tourist traffic to the southern coast and eastern area. https://www.afar.com/magazine/a-new-airport-is-opening-on-italys-amalfi-coast

Yikes.
