At some point in the three months spanned by this thread the izakaya-ish restaurant Sugidama reopened on Elm St. They’d originally been in that alleyway between Herbert St. and Elm. They never had a huge fan following here, but I always liked them (although there were occasionally slight downs) and they were a reliable source of ankimo. Haven’t been to the new location yet.
