I went on 4/3.
I wish I could tell you what I had, but the Toast receipt doesn’t list the actual beer. It just says I had a “$5 beer”.
I had 5 different ones, so I did want to say which ones I liked. I thought the receipt would have been more detailed.
Still a fun night.

I think they will retain the name Stone. They didn’t change their name when they were bought by Sapporo a few years ago. Stone is such a “household” name in the craft world, as one of the early starters of the current craft beer boom, that it would be a big mistake to not continue to utilize the name in the future. And it seems to be a trend that big brew buys craft beer breweries just to find out that it works differently than big beer.
In this case, Firestone bought out Stone. Firestone is not big beer, correct?
But Sapporo is Big Beer, and Sapporo owns Firestone.
Budweiser buying Widmer has been for the worse. Around 2010, I used to be able to find different varieties of Widmer. Now, all I can find is their Hefeweizen.
Sapporo doesn’t own Firestone but Duvel has a majority stake in it and I wouldn’t consider Duvel big beer, like AB InBev, Sapporo etc

I had the 21st Amendment Hell Or High Watermelon, because I knew it was discontinued and found it on draft.
I was reminded of why I’ve never liked it.
You can taste the watermelon, which is good.
I’ve realized I like fruited beers when they are sours, but I don’t think I like non sour fruited beers.
And I don’t think I like sours that are not fruited.
Maybe it’s because I like tart fruits in general? Grapefruit, lemons, blackberries, blueberries.
