Fortunately I spent most of that trip in the Cotswold. Save for the B&B room rate, fortunately everything else was relatively reasonable compared to London even with the unfavorable exchange rate.

Yep, the dollar and the pound go much farther in the sticks! I really enjoy visiting the less busy parts of the UK, which can be a relative bargain!
