Gotcha.
I’ve tried the non-rosé sparkler from the Anderson Valley, and liked it, but the prices have been going up so they’re close to the prices of genuine Champagne, which makes them not so attractive.
There used to be a place in San Francisco called Half-Wit Wines that exclusively sold half bottles. They had a huge selection but sadly went out of business.
I second the recommendation of Roederer…a great value.

We splurged and got the Laurent Perrier Rosé for St. Valentine’s (mutual gift). All the above superlatives apply (really enjoyed it), but we both preferred the Pommery Rosé we had a while ago ($28 cheaper, to boot).
Back to the $20 Nicolas Feuillate picollo.
