Just watched his original perfomance for SNL on YouTube last night!

You have to literally read the lyrics - with all the audience noise I can’t hear what he’s singing!

Chanukah Song should be required music in all Chinese restaurants Christmas Eve. Scary thought ‘cuz I remember the original SNL broadcast. I guess it’s all relative — the AARP is sponsoring the upcoming Rolling Stones tour.

LOL. So do I. You are 100% correct. Go Mick! I watched a YouTube vid of Mick in a dance studio rehearsing. As a survivor of decades of ballet classes, let me state that Mick, post II think) TAVR aortic repair, gets mad props from me!

I’m so sick of it already!

Unlikely, with moves like that, his bones remain very healthy.

Nothing annoys me more this time of year than “The Twelve Days of Christmas”. The damn thing seems interminable!

I have a love/hate relationship with the manicky & also seemingly endless Feliz Navidad :joy:

People in my crowd participate in the Little Drummer Boy Challenge.

Try to go from Thanksgiving to Christmas without hearing that dreadful song, win valuable bragging rights.

Wait til you hear the Twelve Days of Geometry Dash. 100% off key and feels interminable. Painful. My kid likes the game.

I admit to having a soft spot for the Bowie / Crosby version… bc Bowie. Natch.

Right. Just like Steven Stills doing the splits.

I actually love that version. Then again, I actually kind of like the song.

My current annoying earwom is “mamcita donde esta Santa Claus” (thanks Amazon :frowning:

that some restaurants still try to upsell sparkling water, which i happen to prefer. the question of ‘still or sparkling’ should be qualified with detail regarding whether the sparkling is a bottled offering or not. because $10 for a bottle of pellegrino is not something that interests me. transparency is appreciated and necessitating a follow up question from your customer is not good service.

Linguafood, have you ever heard Bob River’s Christmas song parodies, ‘Twisted Christmas’ and ‘More Twisted Christmas’? I can’t even listen to them anymore. They were so funny bitd, tho.

I have not. I’ll check it out!
