I agree on the overly salty meats sometimes in those burritos, and having to mix in stuff to offset the saltiness. Yeah plain avocado did the job for me.
Some of these places like El Toro had a decent Tofu combination that was not bad, that I would go for if I didn’t feel like a salty meat burrito.
