Tried delivery from Hawa Beirut restaurant
Decent ordered the mix grill platter for 2 and hummus (freebie with Skip+) both were decent
Will try other stuff next time

Quick follow up delivery from Hawa hmmm maybe should stick to grilled stuff. Chicken liver was decent (on promo as well) Beirut boat looked sad though I didn’t try
Odd post got deleted.
Sultan Mediterranean food delivery. Quite abysmal.
Chicken some of it inedible.
Falafel didn’t much salad was ok. Friends who had an office dinner catered were surprised how bad it is

Very odd I had selected this thread. Ah well will delete that one
Ordered from Shamshiri restaurant somewhat newish place downtown as saw a bit of crowd when I walked by last.
Decent stuff with the exception of bread all items are expected (I prefer shatter Abbas though)
Guests enjoyed the meal and Shirazi salad side (platter for 2)
This was a planned trip to darvish as it’s one of the few reasonably distance place from the friends I was dining with and who are familiar with the food here and enjoy it. The place is geared towards takeout as it was not busy for dine in but there was a constant flow of takeout.
The space is functional.
We shared an appetizer combo. The eggplant dip was very good. Hummus being decent with dolma being an acquired taste I feel. I didn’t try the salad. I went for the combo of chicken and lamb kebab. I wish I had looked and chosen the bread and rice option as I can only eat this type of rice so much. The kebabs were very good with good quality meat and letting the meat shine with light seasoning. Service was courteous and they were accommodating as well for a person in a
wheelchair.
I enjoyed my meal and will return. They are somewhat close by and I do enjoy grilled food.
My friend’s Persian mom likes Darvish a lot.
