My wife Toni and I ate at Mariscos El Submarino yesterday and we can only add to the praise of the food.
We had the aguachile negro, which was fantastic in every way – we even scooped up all the marinade with a spoon and we ate very drop. We needed more of the crunchy mini-tortillas that came with it and they gladly gave us more with no charge.
We also had the grilled shrimp, which were charred from the grill and superb.
The service was very accommodating. I asked the woman running the counter whether they had lemonade and she answered, “No, but I’d be happy to make you some. How sour or sweet do you like it?”
The bathrooms seem to have improved since y’all’s visit.
A good Mexican band came in and played a few songs for tips.
We would certainly recommend Mariscos El Submarino for good food and a fun atmosphere.
