Well, one thing to bear in mind is that a main course in a restaurant is enough for two people. At Ambrosia my wife and I split a first course and then, at the waitress’s suggestion, she took another starter. This was the only time I ordered meat, and I took the veal cutlet. Well, the portion was 2 veal cutlets. I managed to finish the meat, but I couldn’t eat the potatoes and vegetables that came on the side.
OMG. And tourists say traditional Lyonnaise food is “heavy” and the portions are big. Malta takes the biscuit.
