Looking for restaurant recommendations in Lisbon

Yeah, we were trying to break up our eating with more casual and diverse options. The wife was also pregnant which limited many options. We were probably either doing pizza or burger at least once there. Lupita was on the top 50 pizza list for Europe so I figured might be worth a try. Again, it was decent and one could even order takeout/delivery. But as a super popular spot right in the middle of sightseeing areas, it’s not worth the wait.

We also ended up at Honest Greens like 4 times all in different locations (random hours and late night snacking for the wife) on our trip (Lisbon and Madrid). It was awesome every time, and practically ruined any US-based fast casual chain for my wife.

Can’t go to Lisbon and not eat at Ramiro

I thought Ramiro was great!!! Partner hated seafood back then, about 6 years ago, so had the dessert there, which was a steak sandwich!!! I gorged on two types of shrimp… best to sit on ground floor with all the action…

Coincidence: I just returned from dinner in O’Grove, Galicia. We were seated to next to a couple from Lisbon and got into a discussion about seafood. They were here on a seafood binge, saying that the best they’ve ever had was here in Galicia. (They are wild about percebes and were kind enough to share their order with me)…I mentioned that the seafood was good in Lisbon and that I had eaten at Ramiro a while back. And this couple, born and bred in Lisbon, told me that Ramiro had the best seafood in their city.
