Looking for one great dish, any borough

That’s what I wanted to say.

Adding, though in a different vein from my original list:

  • Pupusas from El Olomega
  • Bihari kabab at Kabab King

I will certainly try to update. They say that no battle plan survives contact with the enemy, which in this case is time and stomach capacity. I will have to figure out a way to prioritize… and fit in appropriate sight seeing.

mike tyson said it much better!

lobster roll
Essex Pearl lobster roll.

My old stomping ground! Oopps! Not that part!

About an hour.

The Hibiscus I’m talking about is in Richmond Hill. It’s known for its Guyanese combinations of expat Chinese and Jerk. They’re both under the same management but I’ve only visited the one in Richmond Hill at 124-18 101st Ave South Richmond Hill, NY 11419. Both have the same website:

I try to support the older establishment, so Louie’s pizzeria in elmhurst, plus the owners are hero citizens!!!

What about Barbuto’s roasted chicken?

Still haven’t tried it! On my list for when it cools off some.

I love it. And, if anyone wants another place , one of the owner/chefs of Le Crocodile in Brooklyn was previously at Barbuto & is serving it there as well.
