[London, Ontario] take-out

From Gino’s Pizza (a chain) at Cherryhill Village Mall

A slice of mushroom pepperoni, and a slice of bacon, olive and mushroom. Not bad for around $5/ slice. Crispy crust, plenty of cheese and toppings.

It’s been interesting to watch the food court at Cherryhill Village Plaza change. It’s a mall that used to be a nicer mall. Lots of foot traffic from the seniors’ apartments and nursing home nearby. The nicer clothing stores, gift shops and camera store have left. What have moved in are liquidation stores and dollar stores.

The Timothy’s Coffee is now a Chinese Café called Galaxy Café, with Chinese sweets and boba.

The old Baskin Robbins was an Indian restaurant for close to a decade and it’s now been Mexican House for a few years. Here is a post about one take-out meal I purchased for from Mexican House at Cherryhill.

The Mexican House at Cherryhill Village Mall menu has been simplified since a new Mexican House restaurant opened in the old Prince Albert Diner space downtown on Richmond St at Albert St. They do still have Chilaquiles on the menu.

Mother Hubbard’s has added some Lebanese food to its menu.

Little Panda has taken over the old Chinese Court space.

A new burger place will be opening soon, next to the King of the Pigs Portugese churrasco restaurant.
