Beeps Burgers, SF They make a damn fine burger. I recommend the standard quarter pound beeps with cheddar and jalapeños, the proportion of burger to bun to toppings is just right . (The half pound is just two 1/4 lb patties). [IMG_1449]

Over the last year the number of late night taco stands in the Mission has quite significantly dropped and a number of places have closed down. One of the few remaining ones is El Gran Trompo Regio https://elgrantromporegio.com And even they have less offerings than in previously. Last night it was just al pastor. Over the last year the number of late night taco stands in the Mission has quite significantly dropped and a number of places have closed down.

Any guess why? Fewer people want to go out?

I think the number of people going out hasn’t changed too much over the last year (just visually it might even have increased) but I heard that many vendors see it as too risky with the current immigration enforcements in general and don’t want to take any risk. Some late night taco places in San Jose have also changed and moved into residential areas where they are less exposed
