La Lupa - Manalapan, NJ

Glad for you that the food you regularly order is still very good.

A high decibel lever would definitely be a turn-off for me!

Had dinner there for the 2nd time Thursday. The gnocchi and fried chicken were still fabulous. We ordered a special starter, eggplant Parmesan. It was ordinary. We had ordered the focaccia., but at some point the waiter said they couldn’t serve it . Huh? He’d make it up to us by giving us a dessert. We also ordered the tagliatelle pasta. It was inedible. The pasta was hard, the sauce around it was delicious. The waiter asked if we wanted the chef to make us another order, By then we were full and told him to forget it, We were still charged for the dish. I’d go back and order the gnocchi, the chicken and the Brussels sprouts (that I had on a previous visit).

Sounds like a risky proposition, considering the prices.

We have eaten there once and everything was very good, but the portions were extremely small.
