I love Fugetsu-do, but because there’s a decent Japantown in SF and I thought there’d be similar shops there, I didn’t recommend it to you.

The history of Fugetsu-do is quite interesting and the owner, Brian Kito is a gem.

It worked well for that day’s schedule, because we happened to be nearby in the Arts District.

I don’t think you can really compare.

One is soft serve (626 Ice Cream), the other is ice cream (Mitchells).

But if given the choice, I’d always go with 626, just because I’m a slave to soft serve.
