The Jolly boys visit Joe’s

I’m admittedly in a terrible mood because I’m at 11K of altitude and have a headache, but I couldn’t watch more than 1 minute and 34 seconds of the jolly boys.

edit: ok I watched a little more, i suppose they have to engage their audience but the overacting is overacting is egregious and grating (but again, maybe that’s my headache speaking).

Totally agree.

They over act and are continually amazed and delighted by all things American. And it gets them views and clicks.
I enjoy them in small doses, much like Mark Wiens videos about Thailand. Similar overly positive on air personas.
I like positive people but there is a limit! :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

And now Mark does his videos for National Geographic.
But your rule still applies, at least so far for me.

Kind of embarrassing for Kansas citians to go with krinkle cut. The best fries are at LC’s, triple fried in lard.

On a good day (not all that frequent these days IMO), when the burnt ends are at their best, a burnt ends plate with fries is as good as any bbq you’ll find anywhere.

i had LCs burnt ends on my list last year but never made it, hope to make it this year. I suppose I should try that stupid looking sandwich at joe’s, hard to beleive I wouldnt be better off with fatty brisket, burnt ends or sausage.

best,
