I miraculously got a copy from the library. I was disappointed though - not my literary style.

I haven’t.
She won the Man Booker for that, and some other prizes.
Style is very personal, though. She writes from a South Asian perspective with themes of post-colonialism and immigrant experiences, which isn’t everyone’s cup of tea.
Her mom’s writing style is also very specific.
