I’m a fruity kind of gal, so I’m all about fruit flavors. My favorites:
Pomelo – needs to capture the fragrance and sweetness, as well as the citrus notes
Lychee – the real fragrance, not the artificial flavors we get now
Mangosteen – guess smell is a bit light, but the taste would be amazing

As for me, I would like to remember the taste of lemonade. This is also related to the ocean, as it is written in your post. Because the most delicious lemonade I drank in a cafe that is located on the Atlantic ocean in Portugal in Cascais. And I still can’t forget the taste of it, and I would go there to drink that lemonade again. By the way, I found a lemonade recipe here (www.madaboutberries.com) that remotely reminds me of the lemonade I used to drink on the ocean.
Almond, blood orange or lime do it for me.
