I kinda like visiting Katy, Texas - A Travelogue in Four Parts

Your Wings & Fries photo is terrific! :yum:

Old news. In the Know Katy posted about Tasty Ko and Aji Ramen early November. They are both opening in the Winding Hollow Plaza, the name of the strip center.

Here’s the post:

More Korean and Japanese dining options are coming to Katy’s Winding Hollow Plaza. Opening soon, Tasty Ko and Aji Ramen (next door to Hoodadak korean style fried chicken). Tasty Ko will serve traditional Korean fare, including Korean barbecue. Aji Ramen will serve ramen and Japanese pub fare. Look for Tasty Ko to open sometime between December and January and Aji Ramen in early 2017.

New to me.

Guess I’m not “In the Know”.

Haha, yes I don’t read In the Know either, I don’t get to Katy more than 3X a year, and Hoodadak will be one of those!

In the Know Katy is a Facebook page about Katy restaurants opening in Katy. http://www.facebook.com/intheknowkaty

Celebrate Katy! Asia Town is on its way.

Katy Asian Town - Super H Mart

BTW, I was in 99 Ranch yesterday, I forgot how much I like it there. Crawfish was flowing even at 4:00 p.m. at LA Crawfish. I picked up some baby bok choy that was blooming(!) and some massive chicken quarters right next to the chicken heads. Also some hot mustard powder.

And to satisfy my new obsession - bubble tea - I hit up the adjacent Golden Oolong Teahouse for some black tea milk with tapioca balls.
