Yup, it was Taco Tuesday at the Parsnipity household. That meant leftover taco meat on a bed of veggies for lunch. I only happened to take a photo to share with my sprout, who was left home alone for a bit and who proceeded to make herself a salad of… wait for it… sauteed carrots with soy sauce, lettuce, celery, and cotija. Kid has taste. Odd taste, but taste nonetheless and I applaud her initiative. Now, just to teach her to take a photo of her creative efforts. Oh wait, I haven’t broken down and gotten her a phone yet. D’oh.
