Well, it’s a blue tag (wasn’t blue on the flip side)…wasn’t sticky, just labeled. A bit odd, but apparently it’s their thing.

that would be great, if song is as good as naples pizza, might save us a couple of thousand in airfare and hotel and about $10k in pizza .

If you’re looking for seafood, go instead to Foxface Natural. All of the food is fantastic - fish is sourced directly - no middlemen. The restaurant is run by former Chowhounds. Make your reservation now. Possibly the best meal of the year for me - in a year of many good ones. The photos are only the fish and seafood. We got the entire menu - this was just a few days ago.

Can confirm it is very good. And many of the main courses are shareable.

We shared the entire menu with 6 people. They worked with us to decide what should be doubled up etc.

When I was there, very early on, I had a fish head that could’ve have easily served three (it served two).

Great stuff Peter. Any clear winners here, or hard to say as they are so different and interesting in their own way?

Just like with the sandwiches, this is some “Natural” transformation into one of the more daring menus I’ve seen.

Not 100% sure that that’s how they’d self-identify.

We talked extensively with Sivan during the meal. I mentioned that one of my dining companions was FoodWhisperer on Chowhound and that’s how we met and then asked for her and her partner’s handles. She said she remembered me on Chowhound and that his handle was Orik. She told me hers but I couldn’t quite hear.

It was one of those rare meals where every dish was fantastic. I couldn’t put any dish above any other.

Hello NYC foodie friends,

Question: Does ’ Foxface Natural ', through Resy, open up their reservation only 2 weeks in advance?! Also, any idea if they accommodate parties of 6?

I went on Resy yesterday in the hope of making a reservation for 6 for the first week of October. They showed openings up to the 20th September only. The rest of September plus the month of October were blocked off?! …such a short reservation window for such a popular restaurant?!!
As well, I noticed yesterday, options for up to 6 people were available online. However, today, on the same webpage, I noticed, ‘up to 5 people’ are the only available options, the 6 people option just vanished?! :thinking:

Much easier to give them a call.
