Off the topic , but when I was very young my folks took me to see Danny Kaye in a one man show in Broadway. Shari Lewis was in the audience and I was so excited. My dad took me to see her and she signed my Playbill. I still have it.

What a great memory! I would still have the signed Playbill too…She was just so accessible. I felt I knew her and was always so happy and content to watch her on TV. I can’t remember feeling like that about any other performer.
