Taormina is one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever visited and I’ve never watched that series of White Lotus so I went in unsullied. 
And @LulusMom1 I was feeling guilty about the Rosmarino rec as well, it was possibly the best vegan dinner I had during my trip. Wish it had been more everything for you!
Please don’t worry for one second! There were tons of very positive reviews all over the internet, and we had many, many amazing meals on our trip. Now I just need to figure out how I can go again soon!
I really enjoy following along with this. It brings me right back. I was in Sicily earlier this summer and had some of my most memorable meals there, including maybe the best pizza I’ve ever had in Ischia. I totally agree that even the simplest things, like a spritz, an arancini, or a pasta with just a few fresh ingredients, can feel so perfect in that setting.

Ischia or Sardinia were options for us this summer as well, but too tricky to get to from Berlin.
I’m not huge on arancini, but we had a very good arancino in Palermo last year. The pasta with local shrimp, pistachios or eggplant is a treat for sure.
Thanks! yeah we went both Sicily and Ischia, really nice time there. I understand from Berlin it’s not easy to reach. Food was amazing, the pasta with shrimp and pistachio really my favorite. Arancini not always good but when it’s good, wow so tasty.
