My first look at their menu was they weren’t quite “fancy” as I was thinking, a closer look at the pictures on Google say they probably are.>>
Pippal is owned by the group that runs Rooh, I believe. It is casual regional food, just very nicely presented. They are aiming to have diners view the food seriously, as something new and different; and to set Pippal apart from Ajanta et. al.
Ah, that explains it, a Rooh group project.

ROOH Hospitality group is recently expanding quite a bit with ROOH locations, Pippal, Fitoor and Alora (going outside of Indian cuisine)
