Agree, Grey Gardens is a favourite. In addition to the food, they have an always interesting selection of less obvious wines.

No sorry needed, “midtown” is something different for a lot of Torontonians 
I also travel for food and some of the best food in the city is in the burbs(Scarborough) but that’s a whole different ball game.
I know. We tried gourmet malaysia in Scarborough and thought it was pretty good!
