I’ve also found there are many unusual uses for bar spoons. Few other objects in my kitchen are quite as long and sturdy. I’ve used the weighted end just this week to poke something out of something else (can’t remember exactly what tho).

Dunno if it’s unusual, but a bar spoon is great for getting olives out of a deep jar. And I already have it in my hand from stirring a martini.
I’ve recently used my bar spoon to scrape the last dregs of mustard out of the squeeze bottle.
Bar spoon also great for stirring sourdough starter.
