Felix is doing much better or continually eating little by little so that’s good . Thank you for asking. At the risk of making an odd analogy - I think of this as he’s coming from an eating disorder and it’s not overnight to go back to eating normally. This is in no way minimizing eating disorders, in high school someone close to me had one and it’s very layered and tragic and painful, but reassuring and blessed when one emerges from that.
I am feeling much better (my happiness is directly tied to the gang), and amidst severe migraine and potential side effects from a new medical treatment (for me, not the gang), I am beyond happy Felix is getting better. 
I work through pain, and a lot can be said that the gang helps me more than I do for them - keeps me healthy-ish. My pharmacist friend commented recently that I look really good and healthy for someone with a stage 4 liver illness from birth.

Below is my newest rescue - Cobalt. I think he’s an older kitten. Male, I think, and abandoned. I’m building trust with him and my goal is intake my end of August. 
In my first corporate job many years back, a colleague once told me that when he goes home, his job stays here and his focus then becomes his wife, kids, family and home life. That keeps his job in perspective for him, and is what keeps him going most of the time. Like compartmentalization I suppose. At the time I mostly just had my job and hobbies, but I kept that in mind years later. Today, once could easily say that my compartmentalization includes the gang and my career, with a lot of space btw the two.
