No. It rhymes with Day-oh, as in Harry Belafonte’s Shrimp Boat song.
We are not talking about proper Italian pronunciation but Americanized bastardized adaptations.

I’ve never been. I remember hearing about it when I lived in Manhattan, and it was a hard reservation even for my friend, a concierge at the Waldorf Astoria, to secure for hotel guests.
I have always pronounced it Rao’s,to rhyme with Ciaos in my head, but I don’t know that I’ve said it out loud.
This is actually educational for me to learn it’s a 2 syllable word.

Good French! Voila! The French generally soften the “v” so it’s more like a “v”/“w” combo. I miss our French FE kid so much. Dang, I hate it when they have to go back home.
