Bringing babies and kids to nice restaurants, yes or no?

It’s a lot of work

It’s a pleasure to teach manners to kids

I don’t like to sit in a restaurant with a crying or screaming baby anymore than anyone else

But that steak the parents NEED to have is available at the diner for the crying/screaming baby issue they KNEW was going to happen.

Last year we actually went out to a fancy restaurant for Fathers day. I never go out for father’s day.
Shortly after we were seated, a crying baby was upsetting everyone in the restaurant. We listened to that baby the entire meal. The Entire Meal. The mother tried to give the baby a pacifier, but to no avail. So she gave up quick and we listened to crying baby the entire meal. My kids had a problem with it more than most of the adults.
