We were in Brattleboro this weekend and tried Yalla, a casual Mediterranean place. The main items on the menu were falafel in a pita or bowl, along with a couple of egg dishes. DH and I both had the falafel in a pita, which came in a big fluffy pita with a bunch of vegetables and the option to add a hard-boiled egg. You can customize it a bit: they ask whether you want zhoug, fried eggplant, etc. The wrap was excellent (and huge) – great herby falafel (way more than I’m used to getting in Boston), nice balance of vegetables, super soft pita. We’ll definitely be back if we’re ever looking for a quick bite around Brattleboro.
