Strata Squish by Original Pattern Brewing Company (Oakland, CA) - IPA
Nice mix of citrus and dank flavors dominate this WCIPA. Starts with strong grapefruit notes before dank, piney flavors take over with floral hints in the background. Dry, medium bitter finish with still some citrus flavors.
What Fresh Beast by Breakside Brewery (Portland, OR) - IPA
Relatively “classical” WCIPA with melon and grapefruit notes, some piney flavors later coming in before a low to medium bitter, dry finish.
Dank Schrader by Original Pattern Brewing Company (Oakland, CA) - IPA
Nice representation of simcoe hops with citrus (lemon, grapefruit) upfront before tons of piney, earthy and dank flavors take over. Dry, medium bitter finish - refreshing WCIPA
Fresh Hop Northleft by Great Notion Brewing (Portland, CA) - Hazy IPA
Excellent fresh citra hop variation on their hazy Northleft IPA. Pretty much a long the lines of the “regular” Northleft (melon, citrus, floral) with perhaps a bit more pronounced citrus notes and a bit more dank in the second half
