TBH I’d never heard of it before myself. We discovered it at this fab bakery up north.

appears on our breakfast table about every other week.
I have (sigh, , , regrettably) bought dark brown sorta’ soft avocados . . . almost without exception they have lots of brown ugly “waste” - bruising, bugs, no clue and I don’t care - ugly off texture off taste brown spots go directly to the trash, not the plate…

so I buy firm avocado - keeping it comfy at home, , , until I sense it’s ready to go.

toasted English (Bays) muffin, mashed, spritz of lemon (or lime) juice, slice of tomato (or onion) plus coarse sea salt - the ‘Pop Rocks’ of the NaCl world . . .

DW tolerates my proclivity . . . I love the stuff . . .
