They mentioned in an interview (or on their Instagram account) that the tariffs are really hurting -imported goods for small shops were always more expensive than your regular supermarket but now it gets too expensive for most - hopefully they can kerp their Clement shop open - it’s always nice to go there and Green Apples afterwards for some (cook)books

This is a review of Seoul Gomtang in 2004 from Kim Severson in the SF Chronicle. It features the soup with a whole chicken, ginseng and cloves of garlic.

Kim Severson is now a food writer for the New York Times based in Atlanta.
