I managed to snag a bottle of the green elixir 1605 which I enjoy. I could have also bought an MOP yellow bottle but will opt for a fir brande from austria instead. The VEP is now available in Voiron at the shop 1 day a year to the public. the rest are sent to existing clients like restaurants and hotels that have had relationships with the distillery for decades.

The NH liquor web site is pretty helpful. It lists inventory at specific stores (not real time and sometimes not updated daily) and I sometimes find bargains on their last chance list. I once got a case of Ferrari brut rose for 50% off.

The last chance section is a godsend (though used to be very depressing, because you might discover, oh, New Hampshire isn’t going to carry maraschino anymore)! There are a lot of bottles that I’ve tried only because they were $18 instead of $30.
