Thank you! I have some shallots that have done what they are going to do as far as growing is concerned, but I wondered if they were better off drying in the ground. It’s so hot here, I am left with only my kitchen table with a fan being “(75-80 degrees F), dry, breezy, and out of the sun”.
I returned the ($75 USD) Have-a-heart trap to the hardware store. I no longer think the culprit was a groundhog, so no reason to keep the trap. No further nibbles have been noted so far.
In the tomato department, we’ve reached the point of more-than-one-can-eat-in-a-day. I suppose I’ll be roasting or saucing some in the next few days. Oregon Spring and Ruby Crush.
Also, some gratuitous pics of my herb garden, and today’s blueberry pick.
Yes, absolutely everything. We purchased the properties in stages, and the whole thing is hodge-podge. We’re getting ready to fence in the whole thing (3 lots) with one big beautiful fence.
Had we had unlimited funds and foresight from the beginning, this would have been my dream garden. As it were, we muddled through in unanticipated stages, and while I no longer have the energy to start over, the end goal will be pretty darn good!
