Grew up in Carmichael in the 80s, fairly close to the Arden P&P – we only went there once, maybe twice as a kid because my parents hated how loud the dang organ was. But I asked to go constantly. I recall they had some cool rides, like a tiny indoor ferris wheel for toddlers. Don’t remember anything about their pizza though. Thanks for the link, will have to give it a nostalgia read.

Lounge Chinatown at 366 8th St. in Oakland Chinatown (the former site of the Uyghur Eden Silk Road) has applied for a liquor license in October 2022. It is reported to be a fast-casual Taiwanese and Chinese lounge serving street food and will be open until 2 am. The owner is Johnny Chang who operated the now-closed Dragon Gate restaurant that served Taiwanese food at 300 Broadway and is scheduled to reopen at the Kincaid’s site in Jack London Square.
The linked photos below were taken on December 8 2022 and the restaurant is not yet open.
