I pretty much forgot about it, but its that time of the year for ripe Indian Kesar and Alphonso mangoes. Any sightings so far? How’s the quality this year?
They’re all over. Whole Foods, Safeway, Latino Markets, Asian markets. The best ones I’ve had were from WF.
Are you thinking of Ataulfo? Good, but not the same. What the OP is talking about is much more rare.

I think I am going to stop by some Indian grocery store in the South Bay this weekend to see if they are around.
