Mr. Kano is run by the same chef who runs Emelina’s Peruvian Restaurant in San Carlos. It is located in an industrial stretch of Santa Clara north of the train tracks, in the middle of nowhere.
The meal was mostly ok. Everything tasted acceptable, but the dishes didn’t stand out. No frills decor. Price seemed a little bit high for the location.
Anticucho de corazon/ beef heart skewers. I don’t know if its because its the hearts, but prefer them to be a little more cooked.
Arroz con mariscos. Rice cooked with a seafood stock.
The obligatory lomo saltado. I liked the version from New World Cafe in Burlingame better.
