We both really liked our meal at Saffy’s, the new restaurant from the couple behind Bavel and Bestia. The dishes are similar in quality and flavors to those of Bavel. I would not be surprised to be served any of the dishes at Bavel. We both liked our meal at Saffy’s slightly more than our last meal at Bavel. I ranked the meal slightly below our recent meal at Mother Wolf, while Peony ranked it slightly higher. My favorite dish was the cinnamony eggplant purée with tomatoes and feta; Peony chose the mussels.

Is the soft serve made with … what type of milk?
the menu describes it as soft serve pineapple sorbet. i thought it was the least impressive thing we ate there by a wide margin.
