Well I understand you are not a fan of nytimes. That’s fine. from the standpoint of broadening the appeal of the forum, and attracting new blood, having a (former) columnist with the circulation of nytimes to be here with us is nothing to sneeze at.

I think your dislike of nytimes is well known on this forum by now. Please note that this is not a politics forum. Thanks.

Rather than politics I was referring to the over-written, turgid pretentious prose and the general lack of accuracy in reporting, for example, in restaurant reviews.

But I promise not to piss on the parade.
