I believe they film in the summer, so it will probably return in the fall, as it did last year. Netflix has been running the episodes the same week they air in the UK, just a couple of days later.

They do film in summer with the series showing in the UK in the autumn.

LOL I wondered why it was always so hot in that tent, they need some AC for those poor contestants

I think most sets go without to cut down on noise, even aside from its being an actual tent.

I think it’s originally shown on Tuesday, but on Netflix in America, it’s Friday.

The new season debuts September 13 in the U.K., so if Netflix follows its prior procedure, they will air it on Friday the 16th.

FYI, the Roku Channel now has Seasons 1-7 of GBBO streaming for free — all the seasons no longer available on Netflix, plus the first two seasons, which were never aired in the US on PBS or available on Netflix or PBS Passport. You don’t need a Roku device to watch, you can watch in a browser. Fascinating to see the evolution as the producers refined the format to what we currently know.
