So there is nothing really remarkable about this recipe, I just have one question regarding it though. What is with the vodka in the egg? I have never seen this before, and I’ve put vodka on my cereal in the morning!!! Seriously though, is this common? What is the purpose? I’m really taken back by this. lol

I never heard of vodka in egg wash, but I guess I haven’t been paying attention as here it is on serious eats a year ago:)
