Dinner at Terry's Terrace - Harrison Township, MI

I wanted shellfish, any type of shellfish on a menu for my birthday. That’s how we chose Terry’s Terrace in Boattown, USA as the place to celebrate. All the restaurants and taverns hard on the shoreline of Lake St. Clair are casual by nature. Pleasure boaters wouldn’t have it any other way. Terry’s Terrace has an out-sized presence in that large group. It’s interior is nautical, and wood heavy, and dimly lit. The restaurant menu is extensive, with more than just “Up scale” pub food plates. The bar pours more than 40 craft beers from taps, and offers a curated cocktail menu rivaling a Destination Restaurant.

Terry’s is in our semi-regular dining rotation, and today we were there…

My Dry Gin Martini, well Gin, no fruit:

Mussels:

A second Martini and DW’s Knob Creek Rye Old Fashioned:

One of three Baja Fish Tacos in my birthday meal:

There was a fail here today, my wife ordered a bowl of Lobster Bisque. She pronounced it “quite bland”.
When we mentioned this to our server, she was genuinely surprized, but accommodating, and removed the item from our bill.

We have every reason to return here. And soon.
