[Battambang, Cambodia] Jaan Bai

Jaan Bai, located in the main streets in the centre of Battambang, not too far from the central market. A modern style café used seasonal produce from local farmers, neighbouring markets or even the chef’s garden. On their menu they stressed that no MSG were used. Menu is basically Khmer cooking with a few Thai dishes.

Traditional pad Thai with prawns and tofu

Dishes were classified and marked individually with gluten free, vegetarian or vegan labels.

A choice if you are in the area. The meal was $21.25 USD for 2, with 2 Anchor draught beer.

Not Angkor beer? :grin:

Angkor was slightly better beer, compared to Anchor, I have to say. We wanted a draught beer, for a change. But like many have observed in the beer post here, they are on the light side in flavour.
