Dunno if it’s better per se, but the Italian market in Philly is pretty spectacular. The ravioli at Taluto’s are absolutely on par with Borgatti’s, and cheaper - like most things in Philly vs. NYC

I always found good prices for Italian goods at Teitel Bros. on Arthur Ave.

Welcome gastronaut! I agree, Teitel has good prices on pantry items as well as a nice selection. Olives, too.

I also b uy t heir cavatelli, but willl try the ravioli next trip.

Yes, love Teitel; look for the fresh pasta from SAPORI DI CILENTO, sold in the cold case in front. That Campanian company sells shaped that I rarely see elsewhere and the texture is wonderful. Oddly enough, you might find this at a Shop Rite, for a higher price.

Also, if you delve into the back of the store, look for the dried pastas from Giuseppe Cocco. (Bags with dark blue labels).

Notice also the Jewish star embedded into the tile at the entrance.

They also sell good conservas of ventresca tuna, and other pantry products as mentioned up-thread…I LOVE ARTHUR AVENUE!!!
